HISTORY OF SITE: 

Park Avenue Inn was a non-congregate transitional housing program that operates under a Housing First model, serving individuals who have previously experienced homelessness.

Total Units: 103 studio units, for transitional housing only. 

Situated on the former La Quinta Inn property, from 2020 to 2025, Park Ave Inn (PAI) was a non-congregate transitional housing shelter that provided support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Onsite clients had a fully furnished solo room and an integrated care team to support them through their behavioral, medical, substance use disorder, mental health, and housing goals. 

The support team for the 103 residents included case management, nursing, behavioral health clinicians, resident assistants and security who are available for client needs with onsite supervision 24/7. Meals were provided to clients every day. The program strived to meet individuals where they are at, using a low-barrier-model, with the goal of connecting to long-term housing and support. The unique PAI approach was designed to support trauma-informed care building self-efficacy and long-term sustainability for all of our community members.
