Affordable Housing: Building Healthy Communities Public Forums
Our Colorado lifestyle is built on the foundation of home, but across the state it is getting harder to find an affordable home for all types of Coloradans—renters, owners, families, and those with unique needs. Home is a place of stability, love, refuge, family, and community. It is also deeply connected to health, making it nearly impossible to maintain good health without safe, stable, and quality housing.
The Coalition and our partners at the Colorado Fiscal Institute, Colorado Center on Law and Policy, and the Balance of State will be hitting the road over the next two years to host a series of public forums across the state.
We invite you to join us for a public forum near you for a candid conversation about the affordable housing challenges statewide and those unique to your community. A panel of experts will address these challenges and possible policy solutions. Guests are encouraged to share thoughts, experiences, and concerns.
It is our job to make sure public investment in housing rises to the top of our elected officials’ priority list. We can’t do it without you!
All events are free and open to the public. All events are currently scheduled to take place virtually zia Zoom.
Please join our email to become notified when the public forum will be in your area!
