Psychiatric assessments; crisis intervention; medication management; referrals to community services; and case management are some of the mental health services offered at the Stout Street Clinic to assist adults and youth with the transition from homelessness into housing.
The staff is comprised of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, therapists and case managers. The Clinic does not conduct court ordered evaluations or custody evaluations.
The Coalition’s Mental Health Clinic provided care for 2,806 patients during 22,905 visits in 2010. Approximately 1,500 individuals are on a waiting list for mental health services at any given time.
