Working toward the day when everyone has a home
With a singular purpose to end homelessness, the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless opens the door to hope for up to 18,000 adults and children each year. Every person we see has a devastating story of job loss, family tragedy, childhood trauma, addiction or illness—the most common precursors to homelessness. But for every story of devastation, there is an opportunity for a new beginning.
Each year, the Coalition moves Coloradans into safe homes
, keeps families together
, and provides critical health care
and support services
for people experiencing homelessness. We provide more than 13,000 men, women, and children with medical and mental health care
. Each night, more than 2,300 families and individuals have a place to call home in Coalition housing. Every day, we provide support that helps people overcome the trauma of homelessness.
We perform this challenging and rewarding work with support from donors, funders and a strong community of collaborators and service providers. With each person we move off the street, each home we build, each job we help our clients secure, each immunization we provide, and each child we teach, we are working toward the day when everyone has a home.
We are the lasting solution to homelessness.
