I became acquainted with CCH when I served on a CCH committee to create employment opportunities for clients who are unable to hold full-time positions. The program, Stout Street Works! enables people with disabilities to experience the satisfaction that comes with earning money. I observed the dedication of the CCH staff in helping these people feel part of society and maintain their dignity. I quickly learned the scope of the organization whose mission is to help people who are homeless find lasting solutions to their problems. This is accomplished with providing housing opportunities combined with programs that address the specific needs of the individual.
From running healthcare clinics to housing developments to an early childhood education center, the CCH staff works tirelessly to insure better living situations for their clients. As a board member for CCH, I'm very proud to be associated with such a life-giving group.
