In March of 2004, the Center earned its first five year accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) one of only 150 childcare centers accredited in Colorado. This was followed in 2009 by a re-accreditation. NAEYC conducts on-site assessments to ensure that childcare centers are meeting or exceeding their standards of providing high-quality care and education and positive learning experiences for children.
The Center has also earned the highest ranking available—Four Stars—from Qualistar Early Learning. Qualistar, a Colorado nonprofit, is dedicated to creating a statewide system to promote high quality, child-centered care. Qualistar evaluates program quality in five areas: learning environment, family partnerships, staff training and education, adult-to-child ratios/group size, and program accreditation.
