Spectrum Human Resource Systems Community Involvement
Spectrum Human Resource Systems employees generously donated their time, talents and resources during National Volunteer Appreciation week in April 2009. Fifteen volunteers collected and prepared food to serve to individuals living in transitional housing. Over 50 individuals were served at the spaghetti lunch at 16th Street Housing First or at the barbeque at Civic Center Apartments. Spectrum employees also provided landscaping assistance at Forest Manor and Xenia Apartment communities.Colorado Coalition for the Homeless thanks all the generous employees at Spectrum for their support.

Comcast Cares Day
Comcast partnered with Mile High City Tree Initiative and United Way in April 2009 to plant trees at two of Colorado Coalition for the Homeless’ transitional housing communities. Over 130 volunteers from Comcast and the community spent the day planting 50 trees and spreading mulch. The Coalition is thankful to Comcast and all the volunteers who participated in this event to make a positive impact in their community.

US Bank; Welcome Home
US Bank hosted a “supply drive” for individuals moving into the new Renaissance Riverfront Lofts housing community. US Bank employees volunteered their time and created individual welcome home gift bags with the collected items; various cleaning supplies, household necessities and hygiene items. Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is thankful for the generosity and support of US Bank and its employees.
