LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer Program (3 or more months)

Volunteers for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless create a better world for homeless individuals, one person and one act of kindness at a time. Every year, we depend on talented and dedicated volunteers to help us serve those in need. We have 32 programs that welcome volunteer staff.

Some programs require highly trained professionals: doctors, registered nurses, pharmacists, counselors, social workers, attorneys and therapists. We also find placements for volunteers interested in office work and miscellaneous jobs, seasonal projects and special events.

Most volunteer opportunities require availability during business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the number of weekly or monthly volunteer hours varies with each job description.

Process

Please complete the volunteer application (link to application) and be sure to list which position(s) you are applying for. Return the completed application to the volunteer coordinator via fax 303.291.6949, post 2111 Champa Denver, CO 80205 or email info@coloradocoalition.org. The volunteer application process generally takes two to four weeks. Qualified volunteers must pass a background check and attend volunteer orientation.
