Join us at a new, larger location this year – classic Elitch Lanes in Denver’s Northwest neighborhood. Plan on a fun night of bowling in an historic alley with a lively silent auction. Enjoy a BBQ dinner and a variety of beers to support the Coalition’s work in the community. Tickets can be purchased online. For more information, call (303) 285-5227.
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is recognized nationally as a leader in the integration of housing, healthcare and supportive services for persons experiencing homelessness – serving more than 16,000 men, women and children each year. The Coalition provides lasting solutions to homelessness through over 40 programs including street outreach, rapid re-housing, permanent supportive housing, individualized case management, family services, medical and mental healthcare, substance treatment programs, early childhood education and legislative advocacy.
On any given night, about 11,000 people in Denver will be homeless. It is projected that 18,000 will experience homelessness at some point this year, more than half of whom will be in families with young children. Twenty percent of homeless adults are veterans.
The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. CCH advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being and stability of those it serves.www.coloradocoalition.org
