The Coalition proudly offers an extensive benefits package to its full-time employees and part-time employees who consistently work at least 20 hours per week. We constantly hear high praise about our benefits from our staff.
Here’s a summary of what the Coalition offers

Comprehensive medical coverage beginning on the first day of employment

. Vision, dental, life and long-term disability coverage begins on the first day of the month following the first day of employment

Health coverage available for eligible dependents, including opposite- and same-sex domestic partners.
Full-time employees only pay 1% of their compensation for their own medical coverage and a maximum of 4% for dependent coverage

. In real dollars, this means that an employee earning $35,000 per year, will pay only $29 per month for single coverage and an additional $117 per month if covering dependents.
Employees pay nothing for basic life and long-term disability coverage

For employees who participate in the 403(b) retirement plan, the Coalition matches employee contributions, dollar-for-dollar, up to 5% of pay period compensation

If an employee initially starts as an on-call, temporary or part-time employee working less than 20 hours per week, and becomes eligible later in employment, coverage would then start on the first day eligible instead of the first day of employment.

Renaissance Property Management Corporation employees contribute to their share of medical coverage premiums based on a different formula.

Life insurance coverage is equal to the annual equivalent of compensation, up to a maximum of $50,000. Long-term disability coverage is equal to 60% of the monthly equivalent of compensation to a maximum of $5,000. Employees may purchase additional coverage at discounted rates.

The employer match is subject to a vesting schedule of three years of employment. Participants are vested 33.33% after one year of services and 66.67% after two years.
