The Coalition will be participating in the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative's annual Point-in-Time Study, a survey conducted by the seven county Denver Metro region that identifies the trends and service needs of the homeless population in Denver. Pathways to Housing & the Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) will present the first Housing First Partners’ Conference, a national forum and dialogue for providers, federal, state, and local government officials, researchers, advocates, trainers, peers, and thought-leaders engaged in ending homelessness through Housing First. Coalition President John Parvensky serves on the Housing First Partners' Steering Committee.

National Low-Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is hosting its 2012 Housing Policy Conference and Lobby Day in Washington D.C. March 25 through March 28. NLIHC is dedicated solely to achieving socially just public policy that assures people with the lowest incomes in the United States have affordable and decent homes.

The Coalition relies on the valuable contributions of more than 200 volunteers which help us provide housing, healthcare and supportive services to more than 15,000 homeless families each year. Check back throughout the week of April 15 to see our volunteer spotlight.
